Terms of service

The short version: you choose what stays on your phone, we keep it that way, and nothing is ever deleted.

What we do

We add the FrumFone app to your Android phone. It tucks away the apps you didn’t choose, turns on the protections you selected, and can filter what’s shown from the internet. Hidden apps aren’t deleted, and everything on your phone stays where it is.

Before setup

• The phone is yours, or you have permission to change it.
• Setup needs a couple of quick settings on the phone, which we walk you through.
• Before you pay, you’ll see exactly what changes on your phone — for example, attachments or music that may no longer open.

Changes and updates

Changes after setup are made by FrumFone with your phone’s service code. Because new installs are locked, apps such as WhatsApp don’t update on their own and need a quick update from time to time — we take care of that.

Reset protection

With reset protection on, a fully erased phone can only be set up again by FrumFone. If that ever happens, bring the phone to us and we’ll restore it.

What no one can promise

No phone protection is perfect against experts or hardware tampering, and it works best alongside guidance at home. Phones without Google Play services, or with older versions of Android, support fewer protections — setup shows you which ones apply to your phone.

Price

Setup is a one-time payment of $20, taken securely by Stripe at checkout.

Leaving

We can release your phone at any time. That removes the FrumFone app and every restriction, and the phone goes back to normal.
